Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and alleys.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during winter months.
- Operate light to medium equipment, including dump trucks, graders, and rollers.
- Clear debris from storm drains and ditches to prevent flooding.
- Maintain public parks, right-of-ways, and irrigation systems.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices and flagger operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Nevada Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, standing, and operating machinery for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction or public works equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
