Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including grading, paving, and snow removal.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure such as roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate and maintain light to medium heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work sites comply with strict local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency service requests and perform routine inspections of public facilities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and the public.
- Load and unload construction materials and tools at job sites.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License is mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and machinery is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and during emergencies.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
