Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks such as cleaning streets, repairing sidewalks, and maintaining public parks and facilities.
- Operate heavy and light equipment, including dump trucks, bulldozers, and jackhammers, under supervision.
- Assist in street paving, concrete pouring, and asphalt repair projects.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices, including flags and cones, to ensure worker and public safety.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Inspect work sites for safety hazards and report any issues to the Site Supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with other crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
