Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as dump trucks, backhoes, and graders safely and efficiently.
- Perform snow and ice removal operations, including plowing and salting, during winter storms.
- Assist in street maintenance, pothole repair, and traffic control duties.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and debris.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist senior technicians with inspections and minor repairs as needed.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and road maintenance practices.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
