Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor tasks, including digging, hauling, and loading materials.
- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery under direct supervision (training provided).
- Assist with snow removal, ice control, and debris clearing during adverse weather.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn new skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school background is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
