Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks related to street maintenance, paving, and repair.
- Operate and maintain light to medium construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging, and barricading on active job sites.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and debris.
- Clear drainage ditches, catch basins, and right-of-ways to prevent flooding.
- Assist in mowing, sweeping, and general landscaping of public properties.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
