Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, paving, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as rollers, graders, and compactors.
- Maintain and repair public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Assist in traffic control management and flagging operations.
- Ensure all work sites comply with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards.
- Clean and prepare job sites for daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
