Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, asphalt cutters, hand tools)
- Install/maintain public infrastructure: sidewalks, curbs, storm drains, and signage
- Execute snow removal and emergency response operations
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and proper equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on construction projects
- Document work activities and submit progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Experience with construction tools or heavy machinery preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
