Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including sweeping, raking, and cleaning streets, sidewalks, and public areas.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, front-end loaders, and street sweepers.
- Repair and maintain sidewalks, curbs, and roadways as directed by supervisors.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and debris using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Ensure compliance with all city safety regulations and traffic control procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Tennessee Driver's License.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
