Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and equipment operation under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, sewer repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery after training
- Load/unload materials and maintain clean job sites
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily project goals
- Participate in emergency response weather events as needed
Qualifications
- No experience required – entry-level position open to all applicants
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required initially
- Willingness to obtain commercial driver's license (CDL) with company sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to worksites across Allen County
