Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, debris removal, and equipment operation
- Assist in road maintenance, sewer repairs, and park infrastructure projects
- Safely operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Maintain clean job sites and follow all safety protocols
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople and fellow laborers
- Complete daily work orders and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - training provided!
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for hire)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/emergencies
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and commitment to public service
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
