Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including road repair, drainage maintenance, and groundskeeping
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Assist in construction and repair of sidewalks, curbs, and public facilities
- Maintain clean and organized work sites following OSHA safety standards
- Participate in storm response and emergency infrastructure repairs
- Load/unload construction materials and tools safely
- Document daily work activities and material usage
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license (required within 30 days of hire)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and safety protocols
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Richmond
