Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure (roads, parks, utilities)
- Operate hand tools and light machinery (shovels, jackhammers, power washers)
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, material handling, and debris removal
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Support skilled tradespeople with project execution
- Document work activities and equipment usage
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled)
- Valid driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
