Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, shoveling, lifting, and carrying construction materials
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Operate basic equipment (shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows) under supervision
- Support stormwater management and environmental preservation initiatives
- Maintain safe work zones by following OSHA guidelines and safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople on infrastructure projects
- Participate in emergency response activities during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - we provide comprehensive on-the-job training
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Valid California Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with teams
- Commitment to safety standards and willingness to learn technical skills
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
