Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) with proper training
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park upkeep
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Support emergency response during weather events (snow removal, flooding)
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam
