Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of city infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Perform manual labor tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling under supervision
- Operate basic hand tools and light equipment (training provided)
- Support park maintenance, landscaping, and beautification projects
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in emergency response and weather-related cleanup operations
- Maintain clean and organized work sites
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - comprehensive training provided
- Valid Arizona Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
