Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including cleaning streets, sweeping, and removing debris.
- Operate light equipment such as brooms, blowers, and pressure washers.
- Assist with paving, patching, and resurfacing of city roads and sidewalks.
- Clear drains, catch basins, and ditches to prevent flooding during rainstorms.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Respond to emergency public works calls and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a post-offer medical examination and drug screen.
- Basic math skills and ability to read simple instructions.
