Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining public streets and parks.
- Operate light to medium heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging, and maintaining safety zones for construction crews.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies for various public works projects.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months.
- Respond to emergency service calls and perform basic maintenance tasks as directed.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- No experience required – We provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Valid Arizona Class C Driver’s License is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
- Basic communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- High school diploma or GED is a plus, but not strictly required.
