Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in infrastructure projects (roads, sewers, parks)
- Operate light machinery under supervision (dump trucks, loaders)Maintain job site safety and cleanliness per OSHA standards
- Assist skilled technicians in installation/repair tasks
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance logs
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
- Follow all city protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Georgia driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- No felony convictions (background check required)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Commitment to completing 4-week training program
