Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (bobcats, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage projects, and park renovations
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in paid training modules (40 hours total)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Texas driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Commitment to completing paid training program
- Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
