Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, power tools) under supervision
- Maintain and repair sidewalks, streets, and public facilities
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related incidents
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Complete training modules to develop equipment operation skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, noise)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work
