Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of streets, alleys, sidewalks, and parks.
- Operate heavy machinery, including backhoes, dump trucks, and pavement breakers.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter storms.
- Support waste management crews in the collection and sorting of recyclables and refuse.
- Repair and maintain public infrastructure, such as guardrails, signs, and fencing.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and traffic control procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) is required.
- Ability to pass a physical examination and drug screen.
- Must possess the physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
