Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and hauling construction materials.
- Operate light to heavy machinery, including dump trucks, loaders, and snow plows, under supervision.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months to ensure road safety.
- Maintain streets, parks, and public right-of-way areas by clearing debris and performing basic repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily project schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid New York State driver's license is required.
- Willingness to learn and operate heavy equipment with guidance.
