Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and asphalt patching
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) under supervision
- Assist in street maintenance, drainage system upkeep, and park facility repairs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and departmental protocols
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate work logs and complete required documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
