Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (bobcats, dump trucks) under supervision
- Assist in road repair, drainage system maintenance, and park infrastructure
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Participate in paid rotational training across multiple work sites
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventative maintenance
- Document work progress and complete daily field reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Commitment to safety and teamwork principles
- Willingness to obtain CDL Class B certification after training
