Responsibilities
- Perform infrastructure maintenance tasks including road repairs, drainage clearing, and vegetation control
- Operate light machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Follow all OSHA and city safety regulations
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate work logs and report equipment issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public projects
- Participate in continuous skills development training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
