Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Operate and maintain hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Participate in paid training modules for equipment operation and safety certifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Respond to emergency public works situations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Florida Driver's License (Class E minimum)

- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
