Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy construction equipment (training provided).
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure, roads, and drainage systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards on site.
- Direct traffic and set up signage for construction zones.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Enthusiasm to learn and work in various weather conditions.
