Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including dump trucks, snow plows, and asphalt pavers.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, grading, and paving roads and sidewalks.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Maintain public infrastructure, including traffic signs, drains, and streetlights.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Ensure all work areas comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (Class C).
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, road maintenance, or public works is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at varying heights.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
