Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks related to street maintenance, drainage, and snow removal.
- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the repair and construction of public infrastructure, including sidewalks and roads.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and debris using trucks and forklifts.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and departmental policies at all times.
- Respond to emergency public service requests and assist in disaster recovery efforts as needed.
- Inspect work areas to ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of performing heavy labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
