Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, landscaping, and drainage system maintenance
- Operate light equipment (jackhammers, saws, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist in construction and repair of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document work progress and report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Participate in emergency response during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain certifications (training provided)
