Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including trenching, paving, and utility maintenance
- Conduct site inspections and document progress via remote reporting systems
- Collaborate with engineers on digital project plans from remote locations
- Maintain equipment safety protocols and compliance documentation
- Support emergency response crews during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within 60 days
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD or GIS mapping software (remote work)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency in digital reporting tools (e.g., Field View, Procore)
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
