Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including road repair, drainage maintenance, and park upkeep
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, sweepers) and hand tools safely
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Complete digital paperwork and reports remotely using city systems
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- 1+ years construction/public works experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for remote documentation tasks
- Pass background check and drug screening
