Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on construction and maintenance of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, graders) with precision and safety
- Conduct routine inspections and document findings via remote reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning and execution
- Adhere to OSHA standards and environmental regulations in all operations
- Utilize digital tools for inventory management and work order tracking
- Participate in emergency response deployments during extreme weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification
- 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Proficiency with digital reporting tools (e.g., Field Service Management software)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with supervisors
- U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization required
