Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, paving, and infrastructure repairs
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (backhoes, graders, dump trucks)
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of public facilities
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
- Document work activities and submit progress reports
- Participate in emergency response operations during inclement weather
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in construction/public works
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
