Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery and equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, snow blowers) safely
- Assist in emergency response during weather events or public safety incidents
- Complete daily work logs and administrative reports remotely via digital platforms
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Participate in community outreach initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction/maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for remote administrative tasks
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
