Responsibilities
- Perform field inspections and maintenance of public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for construction and repair projects
- Document work progress and submit digital reports via remote portals
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members through virtual communication platforms
- Assist in emergency response operations during severe weather events
- Participate in sustainable infrastructure initiatives and green space maintenance
- Complete OSHA-mandated safety training and compliance documentation remotely
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years construction/public works experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with digital reporting tools and remote work platforms
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
