Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including digging, paving, and landscape maintenanceConduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors on project specifications
- Document work progress via remote reporting systems
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota Class B driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy machinery
- Basic computer skills for remote reporting (Google Workspace)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
