Responsibilities
- Perform on-site maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy equipment (backhoes, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management and erosion control projects
- Complete daily administrative tasks remotely (reporting, scheduling)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic equipment operation experience (backhoes, excavators)
- Proficient in digital reporting systems (remote work component)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
