Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy equipment safely under supervision (bulldozers, excavators, etc.)
- Conduct routine maintenance on public facilities and infrastructure
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Collaborate with engineering teams via remote communication tools
- Document project progress and submit digital reports
- Respond to emergency weather-related maintenance requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B CDL license preferred
- Minimum 1 year construction or public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools (mobile apps, tablets)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
