Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management, drainage projects, and snow removal operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report issues
- Maintain clean and organized work sites following OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and emergency response
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Preferred: 1+ years of public works or construction experience
