Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and parks
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., loaders, graders) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management and erosion control projects
- Collaborate with engineering teams on remote project planning and documentation
- Conduct routine inspections and submit reports via digital platforms
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate work logs using mobile apps and cloud-based systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction or public works
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Proficiency with digital reporting tools and remote collaboration software
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety protocols
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work
