Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, graders, dump trucks) for construction/maintenance projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and utility repairs
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives
- Participate in remote training programs and digital reporting systems
- Adhere to OSHA standards and environmental protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina Class B CDL license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools (e.g., Field Service Management software)
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
