Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor including sweeping, patching, and cleaning streets and right-of-ways.
- Assist in the operation of heavy machinery such as dump trucks, rollers, and sweepers.
- Operate jackhammers, rollers, and other construction equipment under supervision.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Valid California Class C Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
