Responsibilities
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, trenching, and material handling
- Maintain public spaces through landscaping, snow removal, and debris cleanup
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction and maintenance tasks
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Document work activities and submit progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical activity
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality in all-weather conditions
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and work collaboratively
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
