Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders, dump trucks) with precision
- Assist in construction projects including utility installations and repairs
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain job site cleanliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency weather-related public works operations
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in extreme heat
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
