Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools for construction/maintenance projects
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Assist in roadway repair, sidewalk installation, and park maintenance
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Collaborate with crew leads on daily task assignments
- Document work progress and material usage
- Respond to emergency weather-related infrastructure repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to obtain CDL and equipment certifications (paid training)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
