Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, tampers, saws) under supervision
- Maintain clean and safe work zones following OSHA protocols
- Assist in infrastructure maintenance including roads, drainage systems, and parks
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic construction methods
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/emergencies
