Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor, including digging, lifting, and hauling construction materials.
- Maintain and repair city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities to ensure safety.
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, jackhammers, and loaders safely and efficiently.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather events.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coordinate with other crew members.
- Inspect work areas for potential hazards and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Experience with construction tools or public works is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
