Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving operations
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compressors) safely and efficiently
- Assist in maintaining streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Load/unload materials and tools at job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document daily work activities and materials usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction or public works experience preferred
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
